Post subject: leaks You need to purchase a spa safe dye, let
it run in the spa for a couple of days if the spa will stay
full. Then you will have to dig out the foam were you think the
leak is. This can be very time consuming. Just because you can
see water in the filter area does not mean that is where the
leak actually is. Once you have located the leak To fix the pipe
leak you will need a schedule 40 PVC coupling, (1-1/2" or 2"
depending on the size of pipe in your spa) PVC primer and PVC
cement. Cut out the cracked part and glue the coupling on. You
may need a small piece of the flex or hard pipe as well. The spa
should be under warranty. If it is you can call Catalina to find
a certified repair company in your area at 951-940-4556. Or if
you are in Maryland you can set up a service call with us to
come out and take a look. |
