Post subject: tub throws breaker Test all of the fuses for
continuity first then what you want to do is unplug all of the
components from the control box and turn the power back on. The
heater is the stainless steel tube under or behind the control
box. To disconnect the power to the heater open the box and you
will see 2 terminals coming thru the box from the heater. Very
carefully unscrew the nuts with out bending or breaking the
fragile terminal pins. Pull the wires away from everything in
the pack so as to not create an arch when the power is restored.
One by one plug them back in except for the heater and turn the
breaker back on. (Plug the pump in turn the breaker back on , if
it trips that is the problem, if not go on to the next part)
If you plug everything back in and the breaker does not trip on
one individual part connect the heater again and turn the power
on. If you still can not locate the problem you can pull the
control box and send it to us for testing. Send the box to Easy
Times Hot Tubs, Inc. 11 Vernon Ave. Glen Burnie, MD 21061 Attn:
Repair department. We will evaluate the control box and call you
with an estimate on the repair. Once we receive the box it will
take about 3-7 business days for a response from us. |
