Parts of the grey interior shell of my hot tub are stained yellow.

Everything above the waterline - the knobs, pillows, and even some of the jets below the waterline have all slowly been turning yellow. The chemicals seem fine when I test them. Nothing seems scummy. I've soaked some pieces in diluted bleach, and put a few others in the dishwasher. Nothing has changed.

Does anyone know what causes this? Is there any way to clean it?

Unfortunately there really is not anything that will reverse the yellowing. It is typically caused by the chemicals. Over time they "bleach" the plastic. How often are you changing the water? What brand chemicals are you using? Are you using Chlorine, bromine or another type of system? Spa Metal Gon, Enzyme or Defender will help prevent it from getting worse. We first have to figure out what caused the yellow.
