Vita Spa vs. Heldor

I am in the market for a used spa and would like your opinion on 2 spas I am considering buying. One is a Vitas LC500 approximately 6 years old with fiber optic lights in and out, motor has just been recently replaced, will pay $1300. The second is a heldor enchanter approximately 4 years old asking price is $2200.

Can you tell me which brand is better and why, what would you buy?

As far as we can tell Heldor has actually been out of business for about 8-10 years. When they were made they only produced the equipment inside not the spa. Out of the two the Vita is definitely a better choice. I would have a local service company go out before you purchase it and test all the functions to make sure there are no problems. We have seen too many used spas that need hundreds or even thousands of dollars to put back together. Good luck with you choice and we hope you enjoy which ever one you pick.
